Cara O'Dowd is a photographer based in Hurlstone Park.

During COVID Lockdown, Cara set up a makeshift studio on the footpath outside her home, taking photographs of passing locals for free.

The Lockdown Locals portraits evolved into a neighbourhood gallery creating an art trail for people to enjoy on their daily walks. The project is a great illustration of how the community connected while maintaining social distance.
